Ethiopian Airlines has inaugurated its new ticket office to a new city office located at Rue Michel-Roset 1, 1201 Geneva, walking distance from the main train station of Cornavin.
In his opening remarks, Bekele Bayi Oda, Ethiopian Airlines Area Manager Switzerland, informed that the airline plans to have daily flights from all its swiss stations based in Geneva and Zürich. Present at the opening ceremony, H.E. Ambassador Tsegab Kebebew also conveyed his congratulations to the veteran airline carrier serving a vast intra-African network. Tour operators in Switzerland, regular customers of the airline, investors and invited guests were present at the event.

In June 2023, Ethiopian Airlines, a Star Alliance member, had started its five weekly flight to/from Geneva and direct flights from Zürich to Addis Ababa in October 2022.
